Why Players should focus on the Duo Queue in League of Legends

This is pretty much where we’re looking. We’re being cautious with how fast we tune the autofill knobs, because there are some pretty clear trade-offs in match quality and matchmaking queue times if we go too big too fast.
You just have to make a new queue, it’s not that hard, makes no sense to have solo and trio but no duo.
My duo partner is mostly support. The matchmaking we see as a duo seems unusually hard. Well, solo queue games for each of us and we sit in the same room to witness this are much easier! After going solo queue, i went and quickly found my way back to Gold. So, it seems the system is doing something to make duo games extra hard. Riot Games has announced that Valorant will not have a solo queue mode and will not be launching with a ranked mode tomorrow. One topic that has been spoken about a lot by the community was the need for a solo queue, a matchmaking queue where no parties are allowed and all players will be on their own, not with friends. However, the development team has confirmed that the solo queue will not be coming to Valorant anytime soon. The same also goes for a potential duo queue. However, just moments after the developers portion of the stream ended, top level players were interviewed and said that they would like to see a solo queue to stop them having to play against full teams of five.
The community has also been vocal about their similar feelings on this, so if that sentiment continues we could see Riot have to change their mind on this decision. Elsewhere the dev team also confirmed that ranked play will not be available at launch despite being available in the beta. This is so that new players will be able to learn the game without having to go into ranked matches.
At launch many would want to go into ranked games as soon as possible, which would lead to many players playing the competitive mode while still learning the game, which would create a less than ideal situation for more experienced players on their team. By holding ranked back for a while it gives everyone time to learn the basics.

Competitive matchmaking has been a source of resentment for many players of Riot’s tactical shooter since the mode’s release in late June.
